Streaming success
Sep. 24th, 2023 05:37 amNow that I have a fast wireless Internet connection, I felt like giving livestreaming video games another go last night, and it looks like my first day back in the streamer's chair went pretty well.
To start things off, I began streaming the "Pixel Remaster" version of Final Fantasy II from my PC, playing all the way to the first boss (the Sergeant) over two sessions. The stream's going to be mostly limited to my family and Discord friends since I don't feel like jumping back onto Twitter (no, Mr. Musk, I'm not calling it "X" no matter how many times you push it) or Facebook/Threads, but anyone else who wants to join in can do so at https://www.twitch.tv/willyfoureyes and rewatch the highlights on my revived YouTube channel (https://youtube.com/@WillyFourEyes) after those videos get shuffled out and I put up new ones.
My current schedule is weeknights starting at 7 PM EDT, and weekends on 1 PM and 7 PM EDT. I can only do PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One right now, but I hope that the new video capture card I ordered works and I can expand to Nintendo Switch and other systems.
