waltzoid | [Meme] On the first day of the new year...

2022 is off to a slow start. I hoped to see my brother this weekend because he didn't visit us over the Christmas holiday, but it's been rainy and dreary all day. I figure that if this year is going to be a downer like 2020 was when COVID-19 hit like a hammer, I may as well roll with the punches and make my own fun. (FYI, I'm all vaxxed and boosted up, so if I do start feeling its effects, they won't hit me as hard.)

So, what have I been wasting my time on so far in 2022? Well...

First game I played: The Sims 4. It's almost always the first thing I do when I wake up. Don't ask why.
First NEW game I played: Pokemon Unite.
First podcast I listened to: 372 Pages We'll Never Get Back, mainly for the "hard-hitting analysis" of Ready Player One.
First manga I read: Cage of Eden, Volume 2
First webcomic I read: Nix of Nothing. It just started a few months ago, so there are only 12 pages so far.

As for what I'd like to get done this year, well...I'd like to finish the third story arc of The Ghost of Ochs by the end of the year. I'm hoping inspiration will strike me more often, like it did when I first started writing. But you know how it is when it comes to writing...some days you feel it, and some days you don't. Let's hope I (and you) have more days of "feeling it" in 2022 and beyond.
