My game console collection is complete (again)

Several months ago, I had an "accident" that wrecked my original PlayStation 3 (read: I tried to use one of those air spray cans to clean it out while it was still plugged in and on "low power" mode).

The good news: I was able to find a PS3 Super Slim model on Amazon and register it to my account. After freaking out about the disc tray not opening when I pressed the Eject button, I realized that the disc door was on the top of the console instead of the front of it, and when I removed the tape, it worked just fine.

(EDIT: 11/24/2021: And now the Eject button actually doesn't work. It's a good thing I can manually slide the door open; otherwise I'd be half-screwed. I'm not paying another $300 to replace this one.)

The bad news: I couldn't make a backup of any of the games on my old PS3 because my external HDDs can't be formatted to FAT32, only exFAT (because they're 1 TB and 2 TB in size, respectively). While I still have access to the majority of the games I bought on the PlayStation Network years ago, I have to slog through that godawful download interface to get what I want. I don't plan on re-downloading everything. Games with lots of DLC (such as Dragon Age II and Super Street Fighter IV) are available on other systems, so I'll just buy them there and save myself the trouble of redownloading them on PS3 again.

I still don't own a PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series S yet because there still aren't enough games for either system that really excite me. I might be tempted in another year, but I'm satisfied with what I have right now.
